Robyn Waldran
LMFT Associate,
Supervised by Mercedes Burk, LPC-S, LMFT-S
Robyn values the unique stories, cultures, and perspectives that each client brings into the therapy room. She is passionate about creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported.
Robyn received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in Human Development and Family Studies. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she began a 15 year career teaching both middle and high school students. She earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University in August 2024
With extensive experience working with teens and families, Robyn supports clients through challenges such as parent/teen conflict, anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, and self-esteem issues. She also specializes in trauma and is trained in EMDR.
Robyn often integrates creative interventions such as art-based activities into her sessions as powerful tools for self-expression, emotional regulation, and healing—especially for clients who struggle to express themselves through words alone.
In addition to her work with younger clients, Robyn also enjoys working with older adults navigating grief, loss, life transitions, and feelings of isolation. She approaches each session with deep respect for the resilience and wisdom that comes with aging.
Robyn believes in empowering clients at every stage of life to build insight, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater emotional wellness.
